Betsy Ross House Betsy Ross House PANICd#: 1048 PANICd#: 1048 Philadelphia, PA - The building at 239 Arch Street, now known as the Betsy Ross House, was built over 250 years ago. The front portion was built around 1740, with the stair hall (or piazza) and the rear section added 10 to 20 years later.
The Austin Log Cabin, is named for Calvin Austin, a Connecticut Land Co. agent in charge of distributing the land in this part of Ohio. It was Austin who sold 150.5 acres of land that the cabin sits on to John Packard on April 29, 1814, for $500. Packard and his second wife, Mary, and their 10 children had migrated to Austintown from Massachusetts.
This week on PANICd Paranormal Videos – Our Hunted Travels, we have featured the Farnsworth House Inn in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
