The "Grove" is the wooded area that surrounds the Gettysburg Warrior Football Stadium in the town of Gettysburg. This area saw several skirmishes during the battle due to it's closeness to East Cemetery Hill and the Union strong hold of cannons at the top of the hill. We have been on several ghost tours to this area and the stories are mostly similar, but there is always a different twist to the tales of things that have happened here. One of the stories we heard from a ghost tour:
The night after Jenny Wade was killed, the Union soldiers who were friends with the Wades went looking for those who were responsible for her death. They came across the unit in this area and a very bloody and gruesome skirmish took place. This could of been the cause of the potential residual haunting that takes place within this area, with reports of strange noises, apparitions of soldiers, and cold spots throughout the area.
Another story from a Ghost Tour:
In this area, and under the football field itself, there is a mass grave that was just built over top of and left. This could just be a tale that is told during ghost tours.
Recent findings:
When researching for this post, we found that others have heard of the spirit of a young girl who roams the area as well. She is not a happy spirit and will make her self known that she does not want the living there.

People have taken photographs with anomalies and orbs throughout the area.
People have experienced anxiety and sickness while in the area, then it clears up when they leave.
People have recorded EVPs and strange voices in the area.
