Adler Art Academy, the Eleanor Beecher Flad Pavilion, the Ford Family Recital Hall, and the Edward W. Powers Auditorium are some of the facilities that can be found inside the DeYor Performing Arts Center campus. Events of any kind, including weddings, banquets, concerts, recitals, and business gatherings, can be held at the Center, which is an excellent setting for all kinds of gatherings. It is also the location of the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, which is housed within the DeYor Performing Arts Center.

The Edward W. Powers Auditorium was originally constructed as the Warner Theatre in 1931. It was named after the late Sam Warner, who was a member of the Warner Brothers and was responsible for the establishment of their film empire in Youngstown. In its current incarnation, the Edward W. Powers Auditorium is a theater that has a capacity of 2300 seats and a stage that is capable of hosting a significant number of touring acts as well as local productions. The Spanish Room and the spectacular lobby, both of which were part of the original building that was constructed in 1931, offer a spectacular historical location for a variety of events. An impressive remnant of the golden age of cinema, the former movie theater is included on the National Register of Historic Places. In recent years, the structure's Art Deco facade was restored to its original appearance. Meanwhile, the building continues to be expanded.

The Eleanor Beecher Flad Pavilion and the Ford Family Performance Hall, both of which were constructed in 2006, each include a contemporary performance hall that can accommodate up to 600 visitors and a glass lobby space that offers a contemporary contrast to the 1931 Grand Lobby that is attached to the building.

The Adler Art Academy is located on the second and third floors of the old Warner Theatre building. It provides places that are beneficial to the performing arts and features spaces that are located on those floors. This location includes a dedicated ballet room, spaces for individual and ensemble rehearsals, and office spaces. The integration of these modern facilities within a historic structure illustrates a harmonious blend of the past and present, fostering an environment where creativity can flourish. In addition, the academy hosts various workshops and community events, further enriching the cultural landscape of the area.

We found a blog post that mentioned a visit to Powers Auditorium in November of 2014. During this visit, he interviewed Terry Fetchet, who was the operations manager at the time and has worked in the theater for 20 years. Fetchet told Boney that there is a ghost in the theater that goes by the name of Roy.

Newspaper reports at the time do report that a man named Roy E. Dennis, age 36, of Belmont, West Virginia, died in the theater while it was closed for renovations. During this time, Powers endowed the theater with $250,000 to renovate it from the Warner Theater to the Powers Auditorium. Roy fell 75 feet on the stage due to the gridwork and met his instant death. There were two companies working on the renovations at the time, and neither of the companies knew who Roy was.

Fetchet claims that Roy has been seen "floating" around the theater on occasions. Some employees have reported feeling a sudden chill in the air or hearing faint whispers during late-night shifts, leading many to believe that Roy's spirit lingers in the space he loved. Despite the tragedy, the theater has thrived, attracting crowds fascinated by its history and ghostly story.

In reflecting back about the many visits we have made to this theater over the years, Marianne believes that she may have had a paranormal experience at one point when she was in high school. Marianne's choir instructor had a ticket to a rehearsal for the symphony and thought it would be a wonderful idea for Marianne to go and experience the rehearsal, so he gave her the ticket. Since there was only the single ticket, Marienne went by herself by having her parents drop her off. Marianne enjoyed the symphony and what they were performing; however, the entire time she was sitting in the seats watching the activities, she had an uneasy feeling. She wasn't the only one in attendance, but this feeling got stronger and stronger to the point where she had to go and contact her parents early to come and pick her up. She went outside to wait on her parents, and when she left the building, the feeling dissipated.
