In Caples Hall, the ghost of a young man who fell to his death in an elevator shaft after spending a late night with his girlfriend, has been seen waiting at the elevator, leaning against bookcases, moving through doors, and supposedly tried to suffocate a student wth her pillow. He seems to resent women.
In the middle of the campus sit the "Gates of Hell". These are two columns that sit on either side of the Middle Path". Students report unusual feelings of uneasyness in the evenings if they near these columns. Most everyone avoids this area at night.
