The former Empire Shop in Kent, Ohio, located at 135 E. Main St., is considered haunted by local paranormal experts and is featured on ghost tours. Local paranormal experts believe the original owner, who died after a locomotive hit, and other spirits haunt the shop. Reports also suggest that a 9-year-old girl named "Alice" and a "caretaker spirit" named Charlie haunt the shop.
