UPDATE YOUR NOTES AND JOURNAL ENTRIES
After you have finished your investigation, and before you leave the location, we suggest that you take a few moments and go over your notes and journal entries. If there is something that has occurred during the night and you want to make note of it in your findings, now would be the time to review what you have written and possibly update your information with more evidence.
For example, if you and your group heard a screaming noise and you think you may have recorded this on your audio recorders, make sure that you have the location of where you recorded the evidence or maybe even a photo that could go along with your evidence. Did you properly note the time of the scream? Maybe another investigator caught it as well and you could sync your recordings. Do you have any background research or history of the anomalies, or do you need to ask any questions?
By take a few extra moments before you leave may save time you need on a return trip.
